DAY TRIPS:

To Okavango or to Moremi National Park : Book a day trip to one of the many areas of interest around Maun, Naxi Pans, Moremi Game Reserve or go on a relaxing Mokoro trip.

Scenic Flights are undertaken in either a 206 or 210 or the new Gipsland GA8 Airvans and leave from Maun Airport. In Either of these planes everybody gets a window seat and your view is not obstructed as the wings are above the windows making a Delta Rain Scenic flight an excellent photographic opportunity. Passports or Omang (Botswana ID Card) are necessary and will be requested by Airport Security.

SCENIC HELICOPTER FLIGHTS:

Scenic Flights are an opportunity not to be missed while you are visiting the Okavango Delta. Within minutes after departing you can see the breathtaking views and crystal clear waters of the Okavango Delta. The abundance of wildlife in the flood plains is a keen photographers dream and some prefer to fly early in the morning or late in the afternoon.To make it even better we take the doors off giving you the opportunity to get better photographs. Only in a helicopter will you be able to see how remote, wild and uninhabited (by humans) that the Okavango Delta is.

HORSE RIDING:

Across the river, on a local game farm you can ride  on horse back for one or two hours among Giraffe, Kudu, Gemsbok, Zebra and other plains game. Your position on horseback allows you to get closer than you could imagine! Minimum of 2 pax per activity.

BOAT CRUISE:

Sunset cruises can be arranged at Sitatunga Camp depending on water levels. This is a perfect opportunity to get a glimpse of  our part of the Delta on the Thamalakane River . Birding is also fantastic throughout the year. This can be combined with a horse ride on nearby Game Farm or simply pack a cooler box and enjoy the sunset on the river. Minimum 4 people per cruise

CURIO SHOP:

Take time to visit our little curio shop. Goods are mostly locally made  by local people or recycled. We have taken care to supply goods that are functional, small and easy to pack away.
